Announcing Faculty Forum 2021 Virtual Symposium

Covid-19 brought about rapid change in higher education and called for widespread agility, flexibility, and exploration at Boston University and beyond. Although rapid change is never easy, BU’s transition to remote teaching and learning (March 2020) followed by the pivot to the Learn from Anywhere (LfA) modality (Fall 2020) has been an extraordinary, University-wide endeavor—one that embodies collective strength, perseverance, collaboration, and community.

In support of these extraordinary times, and in lieu of two, in-person conferences—The Center for Teaching & Learning Annual Education Innovation Conference and Educational Technology’s Teaching with Technology Festival—Digital Learning & Innovation is proudly hosting a virtual symposium: Faculty Forum 2021 | Exploring Innovations in Teaching & Technology at BU on Monday, May 10th, 2021 from 1-4 PM. Learn more.

BU Learn from Anywhere (LfA)

Learn from Anywhere (LfA) is a blended modality for remote and/or in-person learning for Boston University residential students attending an undergraduate or graduate program of study. This new modality will enable students to participate in the classroom or remotely whenever necessary.

The following resources have been created to assist Boston University faculty transition to the LfA model with the goal of creating engaging learning experiences in the classroom and beyond. View all LfA faculty resources.
