Compete in the Adobe Creative Jam
We’re looking for 40 undergraduates who’d like to earn extra attention during a fun-filled afternoon sponsored by Adobe. You’ll get a chance to compete in teams to develop and show off a creative project in graphic design using Adobe Creative Cloud software. Attendees of the event will include members of Boston’s professional design community, so it’s also a chance to meet potential contacts for jobs or internships.
Please complete and submit as soon as possible .
To enter the competition you must:
1. Be a full-time Boston university undergraduate student.
2. Commit to attend a Bootcamp training event run by Adobe training specialists, who will introduce you to the software you’ll need. The Bootcamp will meet on Monday, September 24th from 11:00 to 2:30. Lunch will be provided.
3. Commit to attend the Adobe Creative Jam competition itself on October 11th, from 2:30 pm to 8pm. You will be given the competition’s theme at 3:00 pm and have 3 hours to complete your team’s project. Snacks and soda and pizza will be provided. Between 7 and 8 each team will have 2 minutes to present their results, which will be judged both by the audience and by a panel of judges that includes faculty and members of the Boston design community. Winners will receive an award.
This event is open to members of any school, but will be of particular interest to those in the graphic arts.
