Adobe Creative Cloud (ACC) is the industry-leading collection of digital design, web, and video applications and services from Adobe Systems. Subscription to the ACC gives you access to the tools you need for graphic design, video editing, web development, photography, mobile application development, and other digital media creation. The applications are distributed through a web-based approach: subscribers log into an online account and download the software, which resides on their own computer. In order to use the software on the computer you must be connected to the internet so that you can log into the ACC to license the software. The license is attached to your Boston University email address (called the Enterprise Id). Application updates and multiple languages are included with the ACC subscription, and tutorials and help are available from within each application or through the user’s Adobe log-in window on the local computer. The desktop applications are available for both Windows and Apple operating systems, mobile device apps for Android and iOS are also included.
Boston University is an Adobe Creative Campus, which means that all undergraduate students have access to university-sponsored licenses to these applications. Generally speaking, instructors of record for undergraduate courses are eligible to receive a university-sponsored license as well.
