EdTech Hosts MyMedia Open House
On September 26th, EdTech held an open house to announce BU’s MyMedia multimedia streaming media platform. Powered by Kaltura, the MyMedia platform allows faculty and students to store, share, and stream video, audio, and images. It is fully integrated with Blackboard Learn and Sakai.
At the event, Justin Beck, senior vice president for global enterprise and education, gave an overview of why the platform is important to BU faculty and staff. Then several faculty spoke about their early experiences with the platform. They included Christine Leider of SED, Charles Merzbacher of COM (via a videotaped presentation), Anthony Mecham of GDSM, and Cassie Ryan of SPH. Learn more
