Faculty participating in this session will 1) identify the appropriate Hub Learning Outcomes for their course, 2) begin to rethink course materials, create or revise assignments, and identify feedback strategies that will afford students the opportunity to attain the selected outcome(s), and 3) consider how best to design classroom/online learning environments to challenge and engage students. At the end of this workshop, faculty will have made significant progress on the syllabus for their revised course, including developing appropriate course learning outcomes and revising at least one major effective assignment. Participation in this workshop is stipended at $1,000 and is contingent upon successful submission of the course to the University Council General Education Committee by the faculty member’s school or college.
