Online Program Business Planning and Launch
For program administrators and deans of schools and colleges looking to expand capacity, Digital Learning & Innovation offers consulting, production, and business services. We also offer consulting to help with the many business considerations that go into successful program launch – from revenue planning to staffing and marketing.
Collaborating with BU’s Office of Distance Education
Since 2002, many BU schools and colleges have successfully launched fully online or blended courses and programs, extending their reach to new learners in diverse geographies. Boston University has developed a stellar track record of world-class online courses and certificate programs through the Metropolitan College’s Office of Distance Education (ODE).
DL&I works closely with ODE to build on BU’s award-winning successes in the online and distance learning world. We offer teams of instructional designers, technologists, media producers, and support staff who can help with business planning, innovative pedagogies, and technologies. We are also evaluating the most cost-effective marketing avenues for those programs.
Together we can advise deans and program chairs on the resources necessary to launch a successful online degree or certificate program.
