
The Interprofessional Leadership in Healthcare Certificate Using an Alumni Mentoring Approach project is a collaboration between the College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences: Sargent College (Sargent College) and the School of Social Work (SSW) to create a non-credit online certificate in Interprofessional Leadership in Health Care using an alumni mentoring approach.

BULB (BU Learning Blocks)
BULB (BU Learning Blocks) is a WordPress plugin for the creation of interactive learning content. It allows the creation of open educational resources (such as open textbooks) using the leading open web platform, to save textbook costs both for BU students and for students around the world. Content created in BULB can be conveniently updated to allow access to current materials for lifelong learners after graduation.

The Boston University College of Communication (COM) seeks to expand the circle of learners it serves to include lifelong learners from their teen years through their adult lives. To become a hub for developing critical communications career skills in diverse communications areas, COM will create a coherent brand and efficiencies of scale in administration, education delivery platforms, marketing, registration, and referrals.

Questrom School of Business is innovating with digital learning technology to accommodate the changing needs of its professional students. In 2017, the school worked with Digital Learning & Innovation to fund and create a classroom specially equipped to enable faculty and students to hold classes and breakout sessions online.

This state-of-the-art studio supports increased and improved production of customized digital media to promote active self-paced learning among medical students while dealing with the challenging constraints of limited curriculum time, faculty availability, and classroom space.

The PhD Professional Development Pathways Platform is a project to create an online digital-badge tracking platform and dashboard that will allow BU doctoral students to track their development of skills and their achievement of learning goals connected to six core capacities.

Tutoring Writing in the Disciplines
This project, which requires a subscription to the WCOnline platform, will provide both face-to-face and on-line peer tutoring opportunities for student writers in the disciplines. The tool is an essential piece for enabling not only on-line tutoring (synchronous and asynchronous), but also for collecting data on appointments, student users, session notes, etc. that will allow for assessment and innovation of the program.
