BMC Coaching Tool
The coaching program was established in 2016 using the model that was developed at MGH about 6-7 years ago by Dr. Kerri Palamara. The idea was to incorporate professional development coaching into residency for the purpose of helping residents though this extremely challenging time in the formation of their professional identity and to help in their well being.

Prepare with CARE
Prepare with CARE (Chemistry Active-learning Resources for Educators) will support students’ learning and outcomes as they progress to upper-level chemistry courses. In transferring skills from early coursework to upper-division courses, students must first recognize that there is a problem, find appropriate resources, and effectively remediate using the resources they’ve located. The CARE project will provide the necessary assessment tools and mentoring to guide students. Initially, novel content comprised of videos, worksheets, and assessments will be developed and deployed for students in Organic chemistry at Boston University. Eventually, the goal is to have a fully-functioning suite of materials that will enable faculty and students to select and utilize carefully curated and targeted materials for getting ready for upper-division courses.
