Amod Lele

Amod Lele

Senior Educational Technologist

Amod has been with the Ed Tech since its inception in 2011. He helps faculty navigate a wide array of technologies for use in their classes and professional life.

His specializations include e-Portfolio, WordPress, Google Apps and NVivo. Amod also runs the educational technology blog on this site and is the convener of several university-wide communities of practice, like the Ed Tech Collective and the Social Media group.

He holds a PhD from Harvard in religious studies and has eight years of college and university teaching experience. As a life-long learner Amod also earned an M.S. degree in Computer Science from Metropolitan College in 2016.  He has always loved working with information technology and is excited to combine the two fields. In his spare time, he writes a weekly updated blog (in WordPress) on cross-cultural philosophy: loveofallwisdom.com

Academic Credentials

Amod holds a PhD from Harvard University’s Committee on the Study of Religion, with a dissertation on the ethics of the Indian Buddhist philosopher Śāntideva. He has previously taught at Colorado College and Stonehill College.

In 2016 Amod also earned a Masters degree in Computer Science at Boston University’s Metropolitan College.
