Swarthmore College Delegation Visits DL&I
On June 6th Digital Learning & Innovation received a visit from a delegation of colleagues from Swarthmore College. The group of eleven was led by Andrew Ruether, Head of Academic Technology Support (Information Technology Services) and included representatives from various areas of the college involved with teaching and learning and educational technologies.
The work DL&I has done regarding flipped instruction, communities of practice, and the events and outreach through the Digital Learning & Innovation site caught their attention and made Boston University DL&I become part of their itinerary. We, Matt Trevett-Smith, Center for Teaching & Learning, Amod Lele and Roland Jaeckel, Educational Technology discussed various topics and answered questions about our activities and experiences with the programs. It was a lively discussion that was mutually beneficial and it was our pleasure to establish this connection with our colleagues from Swarthmore College.
