Fully online programs extend the prestigious reputation of Boston University to new learners. Our research, academic innovation, and renowned faculty and alumni attract students to our programs, but not everyone can attend our residential campus degree offerings.
DL&I now works closely with other departments across Boston University, including the Office of Distance Education, to advise you on the many aspects of developing and launching a new online program, including:
- Resource requirements
- Project management/timing
- Enrollment and student management
Through the Metropolitan College and its Office of Distance Education, BU has been offering online programs since 2002, and has amassed a world of knowledge and numerous awards. Fully online programs enable schools and colleges to reach distance learners around the globe who are interested in earning certificates or degrees from Boston University.
We will work with you and our colleagues at ODE to help you develop and launch strategic online initiatives. Our services include:
- Online program launch consulting for schools and colleges
- Training in online teaching methods
- Online and hybrid course production
- Support for market research and digital marketing
If your school is interested in launching new online or hybrid programs, please contact the Associate Provost for Digital Learning and Innovation, Chris Dellarocas email@example.com.
